Job Description:
- Set-up, program, and machine parts, per specified tolerance on CNC mills
- Analyze design data of parts to determine dimension and configuration of cuts, selection of cutting tools, machine speeds, and feed rates, according to the knowledge of machine shop processes, part specifications, and machine capabilities.
- Determine reference points and direction of machine cutting paths.
- Compute angular and linear dimensions, radii, and curvatures, outline sequence of operations required to machine the part.
- Perform quality work checks ensuring the product meets the final fit and finish.
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate knowledge of computers and electronics, computer numerical control, and basics of CNC programming.
- Perform own set-ups and programming of machines using the latest Mastercam and Fusion 360 software.
- Read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, and other written instructions.
- Interpret geometric tolerancing, and dimensioning.
- Use a feed & speed chart or a calculator to determine appropriate feeds, speeds, and depth of cuts.
- Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers.
- Work overtime and weekends as workload dictates.
- Generate cutter paths.
Requirements
- Education and Certifications
- High school diploma or equivalent, technical training, and certifications a plus.
- Some knowledge of SolidWorks a benefit.
- Lathe operation and programming a plus.
- Experience
- 6 years experience in machining and blueprint reading
- Experience in a job shop environment helpful

Job Description: We are looking for a motivated and talented Project Manager to join our team. This position is responsible for the successful execution of projects from start to completion in an “Engineer to Order” environment. Responsibilities:
- Overall accountability for design/build/install of projects – able to manage multiple projects.
- Champion the role of Key Customer Contact.
- Responsible for project financial results including performance to budget, cash flow, change management, and scope creep.
- Accountable for on-time delivery.
- Leadership skills including leading technical teams through concept, risk assessment, customer approval, and manufacture release.
- Technical Degree (Familiarization with Mechanical and System controls).
- Strong communication, and organization skills, in both written and verbal capacities.

Controls Field Service Engineer
Job Description: Opportunity for a highly motivated engineer to join the Flexible Automation Service Team (FAST), group here at Flexible Automation, Inc. (FAI). The correct candidate will be expected to perform service of automated equipment for our customer base.
Responsibilities:
- Provide controls programming support for machine upgrades and/or changes
- Provide on-site and remote support for control systems of automated equipment
- Troubleshoot root cause of malfunctions, electrical, mechanical, and/or software
- Receive training and communicate the progress of service activities with multiple FAI team members
- Work directly with customer in a professional manner to preserve the integrity of FAI
- Complete and maintain service records
Requirements:
- Basic understanding of control systems of automated equipment
- Able to troubleshoot issues using electrical and pneumatic drawings
- Able to integrate and program new hardware into existing systems
- Able to understand and troubleshoot code in several areas including:
- Allen-Bradley PLCs and HMIs
- Siemens PLCs and HMIs
- Fanuc Robots (programming & point teaching)
Preferred:
- (3) years of controls programming experience
- Machine vision programming experience
- Servo programming experience

Part-Time Machinist
We are looking for part-time machinists with 10+ years of experience. Vertical mill, CNC and lathe skills required. ProtoTRAK, and Mastercam experience preferred.

Account Manager – Automated Dispense Equipment
A well-established, 35-year-old robotics, and vision system integrator is hiring an energetic Account Manager who will be focused on selling robotic systems and dispense equipment to capital equipment buyers in the Automotive, White Goods (large appliance), Aerospace, and Consumer Products industries.
Strong candidates will have a proven track record of providing goods and services to manufacturing companies that use adhesives, primers, form-in-place gaskets, and lubricants while assembling their products. Experience with Fanuc, Motoman, Kuka, ABB, and Epson robotics is also desirable. An outgoing personality and aggressive determination are highly valued qualities.
Candidates must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as a desire to network and obtain Requests for Proposals. Job responsibilities include target customer identification, lead follow-up, contact management, promotion of the company, attending line-up meetings, working with the Proposal Engineers, and closing the sale.
This is a full-time, direct-hire position that is eligible for generous benefits. Compensation is structured around a high base salary plus commission on orders received.
